Student Aid & Recruitment

The Wyoming District provides financial aid and scholarship funds to students training for full-time service in the Church.  These students need to be a member of a LCMS congregation in the Wyoming District and attend one of the LCMS schools or seminaries. 

  • Student aid is available for students attending schools of the LCMS who are studying for fill-time church work.

  • Application deadline is May 1.
  • Results of the awards will be forwarded to each applicant by July 15.
  •  The treasurer of the Wyoming District will make payments of all Student Aid directly to the business office of the synodical school that the applicant is attending.
  • If a student for any reason does not complete the study for full-time church work, he/she will be expected to repay any monies granted through the Wyoming District.

        2.    Schweiger Scholarship Fund - for those studying for full-time pastoral ministry
        3.    Splittgerber Memorial Scholarship
        4.    Indian Scholarship
