| The High Plains Zone Executive Board is calling for nominations to fill the positions of Treasurer (two year term) and President-elect (four year term). The duties of officers taken from the High Plains Zone By-Laws are listed below. To submit your name or the name of someone in your society for consideration, please contact Lori Lewis, Member at Large. |
The Treasurer shall:
1. Keep an accurate account of all receipts and expenses
2. Pay all bills approved by the Zone Executive Board
3. Report at regular Zone rallies and Zone Executive Board meetings
4. Remind all member societies of their assessment

The President-Elect shall:
1. Perform the duties of the president in the latter's absence or inability to act
2. Present amendments to the By-laws to the district By-laws committee for approval, prior to presenting them to the member societies
3. Act as Zone Historian
4. Her term of office shall be four (4) years -- the first two (2) serving as President-Elect, the following two (2) as President of the Zone |
