Rev. Paul Cain (liturgist) and Rev. Duane Simonson (preacher) led the convention in an opening Memorial Service in honor of those pastors who had entered into rest in the past triennium: Rev. James Hawley, Rev. Floyd Schweiger, and Rev. Larry Veland.

Dr. Gieschen concluded his presentation on the conference theme, "We Believe, Teach and Confess the Lord's Supper."

Those assembled spent most of the remainder of the convention time on debating and passing the following resolutions:

• 1-04, "To Give Faithful Witness of Jesus Christ as Lord"

• 1-05, "To Require Consideration of CCM Related Overtures & Resolutions"

• 1-06, "To Petition Synod to Rescind 2004 8-01A"

• 2-06, "To Allow a Congregation to Call the Full-Time District President of the Wyoming District"

• 3-01, "To Require Personal Accountability in Synodical Matters"

• 3-02, "To Rescind Synod Resolution 3-08A-2004"

• 3-03, "To Restore Article 14 of the Augsburg Confession"

• 3-04, "To Engage Congregations of Synod in Theological Discussions"

• 3-07, "To Encourage the Wyoming District to remain Faithful to the Historic, Orthodox Lutheran Teaching and Practice of Closed Communion"

• 3-08, "To Address Church Fellowship Concerns"

• 4-02, "To Practice and Inform Faithful Stewardship"

• 4-03, "To Address Worship Practice in the LCMS"

The convention also passed resolutions honoring various individuals who were in servant positions during the convention, including Trinity Lutheran Church in Casper who had hosted the Divine Service on Thursday night.

The convention concluded with an installation and closing service which included Rev. Richard Boche's first sermon as the President of the Wyoming District.
