Summer Camps
   
 
The Wyoming District offers summer camps in two locations over the summer months for various age groups. The goal is the opportunity to minister to the young  people of our District (and surrounding area) in a safe and Christ centered environment with the Word of God. We are also in need of adults in various capacities.
  The 2007 Beaver Valley and Lander youth camps were a huge success for everyone; campers and volunteers alike. During each camp, campers prayed and studied God’s Word together, ate together and played together in the beautiful outdoors. It’s not an overstatement to say that we saw and heard the glory of God in creation and His holy Word. The Psalmist declares that “the heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork” (Psalm 19:1). Jesus Christ was clearly proclaimed in teaching and song thus revealing God’s glory to save and redeem. The writer to Hebrews declares that “God has spoken to us by his Son…the radiance and the glory of God” (Hebrews 1:2-3). The prayer of all involved in this year’s camps is that the glory of God revealed in creation and through Jesus Christ will continue to bless and strengthen every camper unto life everlasting.
